I am a Fountain Inn native and went to Hillcrest High School. I then went on to attend Anderson University, where I graduated with a degree in Secondary Education Mathematics. Then it leads to now, where I am starting my third year teaching here at Fountain Inn High School.
I love going backpacking and have hiked over 200 miles in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I attribute this hobby to a lifetime in scouts, where I reached the rank of Eagle Scout.
During middle and high school, I played trombone in band and went on in high school to become the drum major of our marching band. I still classify myself as a band nerd and love to listen to symphonic music.
Otherwise, in my spare time, I like to hang out with friends and family, work on cars, read, and be curious about the world that surrounds us.
I'm sure as we go through the year, you will learn more about me and how I can be a bit eccentric.
