We do not do assigned homework in first grade. Anything that comes home is optional (and beneficial!) Students will receive a montly homework BINGO and can turn it in at the end of the month (completely filled out) for a prize. 

I love celebrating student birthdays in class! Students will get a special sticker and pencil for the day, and we will sing to them at the end of the day. We cannot bring in treats for the whole class, but you are more than welcome to join your birthday kiddo for lunch!

Field trips are still being solidified for the school year. If you're interested in chaperoning, you will have to be level two certified. Please contact the office with any questions!

We have a daily snack time, where students can enjoy a snack from home. Please send your student in with a snack that is not candy.  Water bottles can stay on student's desk as long as they are not a distraction (playing/spilling). Please only send students with water in these. Thank you!
