The Ellen Woodside Elementary School Library serves a school community of approximately 700 students in 4-year-old kindergarten through 5th grade as well as the faculty, staff and parents.
The mission statement of the Ellen Woodside Elementary library is to ensure that students are effective users of ideas and information and to empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers and ethical users of information.
Students, parents, faculty and staff are welcome to borrow materials from the media center. The loan period is two weeks for parents and students. Kindergarten and first grade students may borrow one book at a time while second through fifth grade may borrow two books at a time. Fees are accessed for lost or damaged books only.
