Hello! My name is Saskia LoVine and I am so excited to be back at Pelham Road in Second Grade!  I have been teaching at Pelham Road Elementary for 15 years (11 Years in Second, 3 in First and 1 in Kindergarten) and 1 year in  the Greenville County School Virtual  Program.   

I have a  Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland and Master of Arts Degree in Teaching from Converse College. I also  maintained  my National Board Certification in 2023. 

Being an Army brat, I spent my childhood moving around a great deal.  We spent much of our time in Europe.  My mother was born and raised in the Netherlands and my father in Indonesia.  My first name, Saskia, is very popular in Holland.  For those of you who may be art historians, I share my name with Rembrandt’s wife. 

My husband and I have lived in Simpsonville many years now.  We absolutely LOVE Greenville!  We have three beautiful children – all girls (Kelsey, Meghan, Payton) and a grandson, Garrett. We also have  a naughty puppy named Watson and grand-dogs named  Tilly, Murray and Wes.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, painting, drawing, knitting/crocheting, decorating sugar cookies, reading, and doing arts and crafts.
