Hello, my name is Sharon Long and this is my 8th year teaching at Oakview Elementary. My husband and I moved to the Greenville area to be closer to our daughter and her husband and two beautiful granddaughters, Sutton and Marlee.  

I received my Bachelor's in Education from Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, CT and my Master's of Education in Literacy from Lesley University, Cambridge MA. I have been providing reading intervention for 20 years and previously taught first grade in Hartford for six years.

I look forward to another great year here at Oakview! It is a joy to work with students each day as they strengthen their reading skills.  It is a beautiful moment when a child finally realizes they are a reader!
