About

Ms. Graves

Meet Ms. Graves

My name is Loren Graves, and I am a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education! I also have a Master's in Education from Southern Wesleyan University. Currently, I'm attending Clemson again working on my Education Specialist Degree in Administration! Go Tigers!

This is my eighteenth year as an educator. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I was also a reading and math interventionist for Kindergarten through 3rd Grade students.

After three years in the Virtual Program with Greenville County, I am returning to Sara Collins, where I taught for many years. It feels good to be "home" at SCES.

I am originally from downtown Greenville, where I attended Stone Elementary School, League Middle School, and Greenville High School. I was educated in the Greenville County School District and am very happy to continue to pass on the lifelong learning concepts I received within the district!

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Libby, who is a Freshman at Wade Hampton High School this year. She also attends the Fine Arts Center.  She is an avid dancer, and we spend a lot of time in dance studios every week. I also love to dance and continue to take dance classes.

I am unbelievably excited to be teaching 3rd grade again this year! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns!!
