Meet Mrs. Gordon

Hi! Welcome to my webpage! Please checkout and explore my webpages in the upcoming year. I will be posting pictures, newsletters, and the syllabus we will be using all year. I would like to tell you a few things about me. This is my twelfth  year working at Simpsonville Elementary. I taught kindergarten for 1 year and moved to first, where I am now. I absolutely love working and being involved here! Our school is a true leadership school. We are one big family here!

 I was born and raised in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, here in the upstate, with my mom, dad, and two sisters. I graduated from Travelers Rest High School. I graduated from Lander University with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood. I love teaching first grade. There's no better feeling than seeing a child grow in learning.

 My favorite colors are pink and teal.  I absolutely love football season. Go Clemson TIGERS!! I enjoy going to Clemson football games with my family and friends. I enjoy spending time with my family and love watching some of my favorite TV shows. I also love sitting on the beach and enjoying the ocean.

My husband and I have a son named Liam. He was born on February 1, 2020. He is our joy! He is the newest edition to our little family!

 I am so excited about first grade this year! We are going to have a wonderful year!! I am so glad you are a Gordon Gator!
