Class overview
The mission of Special Education Services is to help schools and families educate students with disabilities. Children qualifying for services have an Individualized Educational Program that contains goals to address delays in the following areas: cognition, communication, motor, activities of daily living and/or social emotional. The mission of our classroom is to work together to build our individual strengths and to build on our areas of needs. We strive to have a fun, accepting, and safe space for our children to learn and grow through play and learning.

About me
I am from Greenville, SC. This is my 6th year teaching! I went to school for early childhood education and have a certification in early childhood special ed. from the University of South Carolina. I have an older brother and a little sister. We also have a cocker spaniel named Shadow! My my dad is so hardworking and my mom is a teacher as well, watching his work ethic and her teach growing up just confirmed my love for teaching and working with children! I have always loved watching and working with children and seeing them grow, and can't wait to see your child achieve their goals everyday!

About me:
This is my third year working with Ms. Leonard in the 3k-4k class at Greenbrier Elementary. Prior to working with Greenville County Schools, I taught 3k for eight years at a church run preschool in Fountain Inn. I grew up in Maryland and graduated from Virginia Tech. I am married with two children. I love to read, hike, and spend time with family. I am excited to get to know your child and look forward to watching them learn and grow throughout the school year!

About me:
I was born in Poughkeepsie, NY and raised in Darlington County. This is my first year at Greenbrier Elementary and it is such an honor to work with your precious children! I graduated with two degrees from North Greenville University, where I met my husband of 33 years. We have two grown kids and a cat. I enjoy music, and going to musicals/concerts when I can.
