A Little About Me

Hello and thank you for visiting my class website!  I'm Cassie Lemus and I'm one of the Reading Interventionists at SES!  I love my job and enjoy helping students see their true potential.  

I graduated from USC Upstate in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Level Math and Science Education.  Several years later, I earned my Master's Degree in Literacy from Furman University.  I taught 8th grade Math for 4 years and was a Reading Interventionist  for 3 years at D. R. Hill Middle School in Spartanburg County.  I took a few years off to be home with my son after he was born and began working at SES in February 2021.  I am so thankful to be a part of this wonderful community!

I live in Moore with my husband, Albert; our son, Adrian; our two toy poodles, Millie and Benson; and cat, Maia.  My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family (visit Downtown Greenville, go on hikes, cook together).  I also enjoy baking, reading, going on walks and spending time outside!
