My name is Erin LeCroy and I am so excited to be teaching sixth grade this year! I'm thrilled to reconnect with former students I taught in third grade and watch them continue to grow.
Throughout my teaching career, I've developed a deep passion for hands-on, engaging instruction. One special teacher in particular—my own sixth grade teacher—helped me fall in love with learning through this approach, and I've always wanted to help others develop that same enthusiasm for education.
I grew up in Fountain Inn and attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. After graduating, I stayed in the area, married, and twelve years and three children later, my family moved back to Fountain Inn nine years ago. I earned my Gifted and Talented Endorsement from Converse College and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governor's University.
My teaching journey spans twenty years in education and across multiple grade levels and settings. This will be my seventh year in the GCS Virtual Program.
My husband, three children, Cockapoo, Schnese, and I live in Fountain Inn, SC. We love being outdoors—camping, biking, swimming, traveling, and visiting Disney!
