protect the device from damage or defacement.
practice responsible digital citizenship at all times.
never leave their Chromebook unattended.
save all work in the cloud. Local files can not be retrieved if the device is damaged or stolen.
not connect personal accounts to the device.
not download or access inappropriate material at home or at school
never give their login information to other students.
never loan their Chromebook to other students inside or outside of school.
remember that if they give their device to others to use, the student is responsible for any content viewed on the device, any material downloaded, and any damage that may occur while it is out of their possession.
Consequences for Misuse
Misuse of your Chromebook has the potential to earn disciplinary consequences such as, but not limited to:
Lunch detention
After school detention
In-school suspension
Out-of-school suspension
Financial Restitution
Loss of internet privileges
Loss of Chromebook privileges
Misuse
Conduct warranting disciplinary action includes but is not limited to:
Downloading unapproved apps without teacher permission
Leaving your Chromebook unattended
Removal of your student ID label from your Chromebook and/or charger
Deleting or changing school-installed settings from a Chromebook
Lack of adequate care for your Chromebook, charger, etc
Adjusting settings on someone else's Chromebook
Adding a credit card to a Google Account (Google Wallet) to purchase music or unapproved apps
Logging in under your personal Google account to download purchased apps for yourself or another student(s)
Leaving your Chromebook at home
Loaning your student device to other students inside or outside of school
Multiple damage instances caused by lack of care for your Chromebook and other peripheral devices
