Mission and Vision:
The mission of library media program at League Academy is to enable students to become skilled and enthusiastic readers, as well as responsible and effective users of technology. Purposeful and routine collaboration with classroom teachers, in which information literacy skills are fused with subject area content, is key to achieving this goal. In addition, the library space serves a vital role in the school community, where it hosts various school clubs, makerspaces, book fairs, professional development sessions, and more.
Media Center Hours:
The media center is open from 8:00 AM - 3:10 PM on school days.
Teachers can view the library visitation schedule and sign up for a library visitation on the Teacher Resources page.
Overdue Items:
After 2 weeks of being checked out, books are considered overdue; however, they can be renewed if more time is needed.
To renew a book, bring it to the media center.
Overdue notices are placed in homeroom teachers' boxes each month and should be distributed promptly.
Lost/Damaged Items:
If a book is lost or has been badly damaged, the student to whom the book was loaned will be responsible for paying the book's full price.
