All students will need:
Instrument with a spare set of strings (just in case)
folding music stand (to be kept at home for practicing)
shoulder rest (for violin or viola) or rock stop (for cello or bass)
rosin, cloth, paper, and a pencil
1/2-1 inch binder for orchestra music (Provided for you with orchestra fees)
pencil pouch for binder (to hold accessories; provided for you with orchestra fees)
Beginning 6th graders will need:
Habits of a Successful Young String Musician Book 1 (provided by teacher with orchestra fees) and Suzuki Book 1
Advanced 6th grade and Beginning 7th grade will need:
Habits of a Successful Young String Musician Book 1 (provided by teacher with orchestra fees), Suzuki Book 1 or higher (depending on level of student)
7th grade students will need:
Habits of a Successful Young String Musician Book 2 (provided by teacher with orchestra fees); Suzuki book 2 or higher (depending upon level of student)
8th grade students will need:
Habits of a Successful Middle Level String Musician (provided by teacher with orchestra fees); Suzuki Book 3 or higher (depending upon level of student)
