Weightlifting

Weightlifting 1: This is an introductory elective course in weight training and fitness. Skills will be taught with a focus on weight training, related cardiovascular fitness activity, and lifelong fitness. Proper lifting technique and safety using weights will be emphasized. This course does not take the place of PE 1 as a requirement for graduation.

PREREQUISITE: Physical Education 1A

Weightlifting 2: This elective course is a follow-up to the Weightlifting Level 1 for students who are interested in increasing their strength and skills in weightlifting. This course does not take the place of PE 1 as a requirement for graduation.

PREREQUISITE: Weightlifting 2 and Instructor Approval
