Meet Mrs. Baker

I was born and raised in Greenville. I loved it so much, I stayed around for college. I graduated from Furman University with a degree in Communications and a Master's in Early Childhood Education.

After college, I started working at Sara Collins Elementary, the same elementary school I attended as a child. I taught 4th grade for 12 years. I love working with students and learning about who they are as people and learners. I've been at Buean Vista for the three years now and feel so lucky to be here!

I married my husband, Austin, in March 2014. We have two little boys. Rex is five and in Kindergarten at Buena Vista this year! Jack is four and so full of personality. These two boys keep me busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
