6th grade CHORUS

This non-auditioned choir is a year long ensemble and performs music at a Beginning level.  The focus of the Entrance Choir is to improve the sight-reading skills and vocal technique of the students.  Students perform a Winter Concert first semester and participate in a Performance Assessment and perform a Spring Concert second semester.  Students also travel to the Carowinds Music Festival in Charlotte, NC.

6th grade Beginning Piano

Students are led in a self-paced class of piano fundamentals and techniques. 

Units will include passing off repertoire, composing melodies and

performing in an informal classroom recital.
