I am not from The South but I got here as quickly as I could!

I am a native New Yorker but my entire teaching career has been in Florida and The Carolinas and I feel so fortunate to call South Carolina home. Before I delved into the world of media, I taught, 3rd grade, 5th and community college. This is my 23rd year in education! I have a Bachelor's in English from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, a Master's in Elementary Education from Long Island University/C.W. Post and a Master's in Information Science from Florida State University! Most importantly, I earned all my degrees while working full-time. So it can be done! Volere et potere! To be willing is to be able!

Ms. Klein has been a longtime resident of this area and is the mother to two amazing daughters, Savannah and Susannah. She is unbelievablely crafty! All the decal signs you see in the library are her doing. When she is not busy working here and taking care of her amazing family, Ms. Klein has been seen on her jet ski, tearing it up on Lake Keowee! We are very fortunate to have her at Lakeview!
