Dear Parents,

I am thrilled to meet my students of the 2025-2026 school year! This upcoming year is going to be filled with lots of new information and fun learning experiences for your students. I am overjoyed and excited to have new faces in my classroom and get to know each child. I hope they are excited to meet me as well! I am not only here to teach, but to inspire my students to want to learn!

I graduated from Western Governors University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. This will be my 9th year teaching and I am honored to continue to be apart of the Bells Crossing Elementary Staff. I started out at Bells Crossing by working in our Extend Day program during college and in January 2017 completed my student teaching program with Mrs. Gault, a second grade teacher. Bells Crossing quickly became home and I'm so happy to have been here ever since.

Ever since I can remember, I wanted to be a teacher. As a little girl, I had my own set of "teacher supplies" that I would use to teach my stuffed animals and dolls everything they needed to know to have a proper education. :) As I grew older, I worked as a summer camp counselor, volunteered for the Special Olympics, completed a teacher cadet course in high school,  and taught Sunday School at my church. If children were there, I was involved. I love waking up each day with a purpose, whether that purpose be to teach, love, discipline, inspire, etc. I want to use that purpose for all the students I encounter.

I was born and raised in Simpsonville, SC and attended all Greenville County schools grades K-12. This community is my home and I love being able to teach in this area. In April 2021, I married my husband, Mark. In our free time, we love spending time with family, especially our niece and nephew, Ayson and Amelia (in the pictures above). We also enjoy being with friends, going to church, and traveling to new places. As most ladies do, I love shopping, watching movies, and decorating my home

Your child's education is top priority and I am committed to helping your child in any way, shape, or form that allows them to have a successful second grade year! Please feel free to reach out to me with anything that you think could help better your child's success. I am here to help!

Thank you and I look forward to getting to know you this school year!
