What is Chorus?

Chorus is an auditioned group of 4th and 5th grade singers

When does chorus rehearse?

Chorus rehearses 2 mornings a week from 7:05am to 7:40am

When and where does chorus perform?

Chorus typically has 2 evening performances, one in the winter and one in the spring. Chorus also performs during the school day for Plain Elementary School students. Other performance opportunities outside of school may arise depending on what available that year.

How can I join chorus?

We are working on putting together our chorus for the 2026-2027 school year! Interested current 3rd and 4th graders should fill out and turn in a permission to audition form (see copies below) to their classroom teacher and come to the music room on their designated morning to audition.

Audition Information

We are starting the process of auditioning 3rd and 4th grade students for the 26-27 chorus!

The song I would like students to sing for the audition is the first verse of America (My Country, 'Tis of the Thee). The words are below and there is also a link to a recording in Quaver if you would like to practice with it!
