GRADING POLICY** NEW THIS YEAR
There will no longer be a grade floor of 50 for assignments; students' actual scores will be reflected in the gradebook.
If students do not turn in the work, the recorded grade will be a 0.
If your student is absent for an assignment, it will be coded as “MDA” (Missing Due to Absence). They will have an opportunity to complete the work when returning to school.
LATE WORK/REDO POLICY
Late Work Policy: Late work will be accepted with no penalty to the student up to 5 days after the original due date or the end of the grading period, whichever comes first. If there are exentuating circumstances, please come talk to me.
Redo Policy: Students will have an opportunity to re-take a version of the test or complete test corrections. The re-take should happen within five days of returning the original test. The recorded score will reflect the highest score. Redos must be completed before school, during PAWS, or a pre-arranged time and day after school.
