Hello Skyland Family!
My name is Kaylee White, and I am so excited to be teaching your child this year! I grew up in Spartanburg, SC and currently live in Taylors, SC. I graduated from Converse College with a major in Early Childhood Education. After I finished college, I became a reading interventionist, mostly working with students in kindergarten and second grade. This will be my fifth year as a teacher at Skyland, and my second year in 1st grade. When I am not teaching, I love to eat at new restaurants, explore outside, spend time with my infant son, and plan exciting learning opportunities for my students. One fun fact about me is that my husband and I met in kindergarten and have been best friends ever since! I can't wait to have a wonderful year full of exploring, creating, and learning together at school!
