Hello! I'm so happy to be at GMA this year! My name is Jackie Knafelc and I've been teaching special education for over 25 years. I am originally from Long Island, but call Lyman "home" now. I enjoy spending time with my family - husband, daughter, and 2 fur-babies (Hope and Ellie). We have also accumulated 2 neighborhood cats (Kitty and Harvey-Murphy) who like to stay on our porch and driveway by day and in our garage by night. I enjoy working outside gardening, doing yoga, and reading. I also help with dog rescues transporting dogs where they need to go. I love teaching in the classroom and forming positive relationships with the students and appreciate all their different personalities.
