Hey Gator Family! I'm Katherine Harmon! I am so excited to be joining the Rudolph Gordon family this year! My husband, Brian, and I live in Fountain Inn with our two spunky girls, Leila Kate-10 and Sydney-4. In our free time we enjoy boating, Clemson football, and spending time with our family and friends. Leila Kate and Sydney have recently become interested in gymnastics and Leila Kate is an avid horse lover. Brian loves golfing and I enjoy shopping and pampering myself.
I have a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from The University of South Carolina Upstate and M. Ed in Literacy with a focus in coaching from Clemson University. I am entering year 11 in education. I have taught in Greenville County for the past 8 years. I started my education career in Laurens County 56 in Clinton where I taught for 2 years. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and third grade.
My favorite thing about being an educator is build relationships with students and their families, teaching children to read, and watching them thrive as learners.

A Little More About Me
WHERE IS MY COMMUNITY?
I grew up in Clinton, South Carolina with my parents and two brothers. My mom is a retired high school business teacher and my dad is the Assistant City Manager for the City of Clinton. My brothers are both married and live in the upstate. I have 4 nieces ranging from age 5 to 24 and I have 3 nephews.
I currently live in Fountain Inn, SC, with my husband, two daughters, and dog. My husband, Brian, is an Electrical Engineer for Fluor. My oldest daughter, Leila Kate, is 10 and will be in 5th grade at RGS this year. She loves gymnastics and playing outside. My youngest daughter, Sydney, is 4 years old and will be going to Golden Strip Child Development Center. Sydney also loves gymnastics and is the wild child of our family.
