As a special education teacher at WHHS, I have found my passion in helping students reach their full potential. My journey to becoming a teacher started at the College of Charleston, where I earned my Bachelor's of Science degree in Special Education. It was there that I specialized in working with students who face unique challenges in the classroom.
Currently, I teach the South Carolina ID Moderate program at WHHS. Previously, I taught the Employability Credential Math, Employability Education, and Technology courses. These classes not only focus on academic skills but also on preparing students for life after high school. Every day, I am inspired by the progress my students make and the determination they show in overcoming obstacles.
Being a special education teacher is not just a job for me - it is a calling. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these incredible young people.
