This is my eleventh year teaching high school social studies. I love teaching social studies classes because the content is so relevant to how we interact with each other as people sharing this planet. I graduated from Winthrop University with a B.A. in History-Secondary Education in 2011, and I am currently pursuing my M.Ed in Learning Design & Technologies through the University of South Carolina.

I enjoy reading mystery novels, caring for my plants, watching documentaries, wandering antiques stores, and listening to true crime podcasts during my commute. My husband and I live in Spartanburg with our daughter Aubrey and our dog Minnie.
