Meet the Teacher

Hi!  My name is Kam Thompson. This is my tenth year teaching and I am so happy that I am here! I love being part of the Crestview Family! I love children and watching their excitement while learning new things. I graduated from Deerfield Beach High School, Florida in 1996.  After being a stay at home mom for 10 years, I decided it was time to go back to college and finish my degree. I graduated with my BA degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina Upstate in December 2015.

My family and I moved to Greer sixteen years ago and Greer is our home now. I am married to my high school sweetheart James. Together we have two daughters, Kaylee and Kourtney. We also have two dachshunds that I refer to as "the boys". There names are Remi and Ripley. James is the Plant Manager at Southeast Broach. Kaylee is a teacher in D5 district. Kourtney is attending Greenville Technical College and is studying business, she will graduate in December. They are my best friends and keep me busy. We love to spend time together as family enjoying the outdoors, watching television, playing games, or just making jokes.

I always knew teaching was my calling and I am excited to teach your student!
