Meet the Teacher

Hi!  My name is Kam Thompson. This is my eighth year teaching and I am so happy that I am here! I love being part of the Crestview Family! I love children and watching their excitement while learning new things. I graduated from Deerfield Beach High School, Florida in 1996.  After being a stay at home mom for 10 years, I decided it was time to go back to college and finish my degree. I graduated with my BA degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina Upstate in December 2015.

My family and I moved to Greer thirteen years ago and is our home now. I am married to my high school sweetheart James. Together we have two daughters, Kaylee and Kourtney. James is the Plant Manager at Southeast Broach. Kaylee is in her third year of college to be an early childhood teacher, she subs here at Crestview.. Kourtney is attending Greenville Technical College studying sonography. They are my best friends and keep me on my toes. We love to spend time together as family enjoying the outdoors, watching television, playing games, or just making jokes.

I always knew teaching was my calling and I am excited to teach your student!
