All About Me
My name is Kristen Gullette. I graduated from Riverside High school in 1988. I earned my undergraduate degree in early childhood education from Clemson University in 1992 and my Master's Degree in Literacy from Furman University in 2017. After graduating Clemson, I married my high school sweetheart. I started my career by teaching 1st grade for five years and 4th grade for two years at St. Paul's Catholic School in Spartanburg. I took several years off from teaching to raise my two daughters Emily and Kelsey. I have been teaching at Skyland Elementary since 2004 where I have taught both 4K and 1st grade.
My family and I have two cats and one dog. We also have two grand dogs. We love to travel! One of our favorite things to do is to go to the mountains and get out in nature. We also enjoy cooking--especially on the weekends. I enjoy sitting outside and reading a good book when I have a free moment.
