About the Teacher Bio

Hello, my name is Kristen Forsythe. I grew up in Connecticut and attended East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in education. After graduation, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, and earned a Master's Degree in learning disabilities from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My family and I relocated to Greenville in 2001, and we have been pleased to call it home ever since. With 25 years of teaching experience spanning various grade levels, I am also certified in English and have worked as a co-teacher in the English department at Mauldin High School for the past six years. I am excited to begin my 13th year at MHS. Go Mavs!
