About me

My name is Mr. Ken S. Ellis, and I am the Director of GCS Virtual Programs.  I taught High School Social Studies and coached Varsity Soccer, Football, and Basketball.  Also, I have been an Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, and Interim Principal in another district.  I have been with Greenville County Schools for almost five years, starting in Human Resources and then joining the Virtual Program in 2020 as the Administrator over the 7th Grade and Middle School Special Ed.  I am an avid sports fan, and my favorite teams are the Carolina Gamecocks (College Football), the Buffalo Bills (NFL), and the Duke Blue Devils (College Basketball). In addition, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family and doing yard work.
