5th Grade Field Trip Information
Dear Parents,
We are so excited about our field trip this year. We will be heading to Patriot’s Point in Mount Pleasant and the Isle of Palms for an adventurous overnight trip. Below you will find important information about the trip. Please note the due dates for payments. We must have them on time due to the tour company having to pay the vendors.
Date: October 14-15,
Cost: $214 per student; $222 per adult
Stay: 1 night hotel stay
Preliminary Meeting Date: August 19, 2021 at 5:30 for all interested in going (students and parents).
CHAPERONES ARE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. The first deposit of $100 is due by August 24. You may pay in full. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE CHAPERONE DEPOSITS AFTER AUGUST 24. At this time we are accepting 30 chaperones. We will determine if we can take more on August 24. The student deposit MUST BE paid at the same time or before the chaperone deposit. We cannot apply chaperone money before applying the student’s money. We thank you for your time and willingness to be a part of our field trip.
ALL CHAPERONES MUST BE VOLUNTEER LEVEL 2 APPROVED. Please begin the application process now if you are interested in chaperoning. If you are not approved by the field trip, you will not be allowed to attend and will be given your refund.
DEPOSIT SCHEDULE (per person):
August 24: $100 per person
September 6: $114 student; $122 adult
