I am looking forward to the 2025-2026 school year, which marks my twentieth year of teaching in Greenville County. I am especially excited to embark on my journey working with gifted and talented students. Over the past nineteen years, I have taught third grade at Lake Forest Elementary, GCSD Virtual School, and Oakview Elementary in Simpsonville.
My path to Greenville began in Boulder, Colorado, where I lived until June 2006. Prior to that, I spent my childhood on Long Island, New York. These diverse experiences have significantly shaped me as both a person and an educator.
I am enthusiastic about the upcoming school year, particularly because the curriculum for the challenge program includes many of my favorite subjects, such as art, architecture, engineering, and math, among others. It’s going to be a fantastic year!
