Hello there! My name is Samantha Stacy, and I am thrilled to be your child's kindergarten teacher. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I am so happy to get to do what I love each day.
I have lived in Greenville since I was seven. In 2018, I graduated from USC Upstate with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am coming to Reedy Laurel from Pelham Road Elementary, where I taught for six years. I am so excited to be a part of this special place from the very beginning!
I have one brother, Jeremy, who lives in Massachusetts. I also have a dog, a Chiweenie named Stanley. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hanging out with my friends, and shopping. One of my other passions, besides teaching, is advocating for young adults with cancer, as I am a survivor of ten years. I am on the AYA (adolescent/young adult) advisory board at Prisma Health System, and I am also an advisory council member for a national organization called Teen Cancer America.
As I mentioned above, teaching has been a huge passion of mine for many, many years. I truly believe in meeting each child where they are and helping them to grow into kind, successful people. Kindergarten is such a foundational year, and I cannot wait to see the growth each student makes! If there is ever anything I can do to help you or your student, please do not hesitate to contact me!
