Hello there! My name is Samantha Stacy, and I am thrilled to be your child's kindergarten teacher. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I am so happy to get to do what I love each day. 

I have lived in Greenville since I was seven and attended Greenville County Schools myself! In 2018, I graduated from USC Upstate with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Literacy from the American College of Education, which I hope to complete in February! This will be my eighth year teaching and my sixth year teaching kindergarten (I taught first grade for two years prior). Before joining Reedy Laurel last year, I taught for six years at Pelham Road Elementary. I am so grateful to be a part of the wonderful RLE community!

I have one brother, Jeremy, who lives in Massachusetts. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hanging out with my friends, and shopping.  One of my other passions, besides teaching, is advocating for young adults with cancer, as I am a survivor of eleven years. I serve on the AYA (adolescent/young adult) advisory board at Prisma Health System and am also an advisory council member for a national organization called Teen Cancer America. 

As I mentioned above, teaching has been a huge passion of mine for many, many years. I truly believe in meeting each child where they are and helping them to grow into kind, successful people. Kindergarten is such a foundational year, and I cannot wait to see the growth each student makes! 

Please find our daily schedule for Monday through Friday. Pay close attention to our PE day so that your son/daughter has proper shoes for class.
