Hi, I am Ms. Emma, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this school year! This will be my second year at Mountain View and fourth year in Special Education. I am very passionate about being a voice for those who cannot advocate for themselves, and my goal daily is to spread light wherever I go. 

I am engaged to my best friend, Evan, and we have a sweet dog named Sandy - we are getting married this upcoming summer, and we are so thrilled! I am originally from Dallas, TX, but moved to Greenville to attend Furman University and have stayed ever since. I love the mountains and the community here. 

In college, I studied Art and Special Education from the non-profit perspective and have worked for a couple of non-profits in the area advocating for children with differing needs. 

I hope that my classroom is a place where your child feels seen, safe, and most of all loved!
