Expectations

What I expect from my students:

• Be respectful, to yourself, each other and the teacher

• Be prepared, bring your supplies to class and be ready to learn when the bell rings

• If you have questions or concerns, please come and ask me!  I'm here to help you in any way I can!

• Follow all school rules while in my classroom.

What my students can expect from me!

• I will always treat you with respect and dignity!

• I will be prepared for class and ready to help you learn!

• I will listen to you.  If you have concerns or questions, I will do my best to explain or understand what you are saying.

• I will adhere to and support all school rules in my classroom. 

Per SC State Law and Greenville County School District policy, NO cell phones or ANY personal electronic devices are allowed in the hallways or classrooms. Students are provided with school Chromebooks for all digital work. These should be brought to class fully charged each day. 

This law gives students the "freedom to focus" in a distraction-free environment. 

Cell phones must be turned off and stored in students' bookbags. 

Artificial Intelligence (AI) disclaimer: 

Any students surreptitiously using AI technology (eg. ChatGPT) and falsely representing the generated script as their own original work will be subject to the school's disciplinary process regarding academic dishonesty (please see Student Handbook).
