About me

I grew up spending a lot of my time around teachers and school. My mother has taught 2nd grade for 30 years. I love spending time with children and getting to learn about them and what they are interested in. I love music, movies, and sports and I love seeing what my students and I have in common in those areas.

This will be my first year teaching at Thomas E. Kerns Elementary. I enjoy reading, soccer, coaching basketball, and all things outdoors. Let’s make this an incredible year! I graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in Elementary Education and I hold a South Carolina teaching license.

I got married on June 8 to Emily. We met at college and love living in Greenville. My wife works for United Community Bank.
