This will be my third year teaching at Hughes Academy, and my sixth as a teacher in general. I am a South Carolina native. I grew up Spartanburg County and attend District 2 Schools. I have recieved my Bachelors of Science in Political Science from Lander University, Greenwood. I am a habitual reader. Some of my favorite authors include: Flannery O'Conner, Robert Penn Warren, William Faulkner, and Wendel Berry. I am also an avid outdoorsman. I am often going on hikes and camping trips several times during the school year. I also lead a troop of scout as my Church. Most of all I truly enjoy teaching. I feel the excitement increase as the start of the year edges closer. I am looking forward to meeting all of your students soon.
