Hi, I'm Mrs. Sutphin!

I'm excited to welcome my Kindergarteners very soon and would like to introduce myself to my new families! This will be my 20th year teaching and my second year at Paris Elementary. I previously taught Kindergarten for 16 years and 1st grade for 3 years.

I was born in Houston, Texas and also lived in North Carolina before moving to South Carolina to start college. After completing my Bachelor of Arts in Counseling, in the School of Education from Bob Jones University, I lived and worked in Greenville while working on my Masters degree, which was completed in Early Childhood from Converse College. 

I have a wonderful husband named Josh, and we have been married just over seven years.  Josh is from Michigan and works in an IT department with a local Greenville company. We love traveling, going to the movies, getting together with friends, playing board & card games, and trying all kinds of food!

We were blessed in November of 2020 with our first child, our sweet daughter Hallie! She's an energetic toddler who loves school, animals, Bluey, and Daniel Tiger. 

Josh & I enjoy spending time with friends and family. Most of our family lives out of state and some live in Canada and Australia.

Most people quickly realize I love the beach, but one thing most people don't know is that love scuba diving. Those have been some of the most incredible adventures!  

I'm excited to start the new school year and look forward to helping my students learn and grow this year!

Do you collect anything? Unique mugs, especially Starbucks mugs from cities & countries

Hobbies/interests: Crocheting & knitting, reading, scuba diving, hiking, kayaking, traveling, going to the movies

My name is Janet Livingston, and I have been teaching at Paris for 26 years. I am married and have 2 sons, a daugher-in-law, and a graddaughter and a grandson. I attended Paris, so it is very special to me. I am looking forward to getting to know your child!
