About Me

Hello! I’m Mrs. Stroup, and I am so excited to welcome you to 7th Grade Math and 7/8 Advanced Math! I’m looking forward to teaching you during the 2026–2027 school year and helping you grow in your confidence and math skills.

This year will be my 27th year of teaching, and I still love discovering math right alongside my students. I believe that everyone can be successful in math with practice, perseverance, and a willingness to keep trying.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy crocheting, reading, spending time with my family, and learning new things about technology. I also love spending time with my pets—my cat, Skittles, and my dog, Luna.

I’m looking forward to a great year filled with learning, growth, and plenty of opportunities to challenge ourselves. I can’t wait to get to know you and make the 2026–2027 school year a wonderful one!

Special Note:  If at anytime you do not understand something in math class, please do not leave class without letting me know!  You can speak to me in person or email me and I will work out a time with you for extra help!
