About Mrs. Johnson

Hi, I'm Mrs. Johnson .I will be teaching 6th grade science at Woodmont Middle School this year. I have a Bachelors in Biology and Studio Art from Converse University. This will be my first year teaching. I am very excited and eager to jump into the classroom. Science has always been a passion of mine, and I am thrilled to get to share that excitement with my students. I strive to educate and support my students through collaborative, creative, and growth minded instruction. My classroom will be a place for students to take risks and make mistakes in a safe environment. 

Born and raised in South Carolina, I am an avid outdoors person! I love to hike, tent camp, kayak and read! When I’m not outside, I enjoy cooking and making pottery. I recently got married in November. My husband, Eric, and I don't have kids yet, but we do have many animals, including two cats, two dogs, and a giant tortoise!

I am confident that this school year will be fantastic and one for the books!
