My name is Emily Johnson.  This is my 22nd year teaching and my 13th year at Summit Drive.  I have taught Kindergarten and 3-5th grades.   Third grade is such an amazing year in a student’s life, and one of my favorite grades to teach.  

I am a graduate of Auburn University (the other tigers!). My husband Matt, is a graduate of The Citadel and the VP of Operations for Harper General Contractors.  We have three children.  Our oldest son, Todd (graduate of The Citadel), is an accountant in New York City.  He will be getting married in 2027 to his fiance', Hannah. Our middle son, Carter, is attending Clemson Graduate School for a Masters of Accounting.  Our daughter, Katie, is a sophomore in the Nursing School at Clemson University.  We love spending time at the beach, watching Clemson football (gymnastics, baseball, all sports!), supporting the Braves,  and hanging out with our two dogs, Minnie and Macie.
