Services 

Title I Social Worker Serves in the following ways: 

* Enforce the South Carolina Compulsory School Attendance Law 

* To provide services to students or parents concerning specific school or home related problems. 

*To transport a parent/guardian to school for conferences with the child’s teacher or principal, should transportation not be available.

*To work with our School Nurse to help a parent/guardian if a student has an emergency medical or dental need. 

*To call or make a home visit to check on a student when he/she is absent from school. 

*To provide school supplies to students and teachers as needed. 

*To provide families with information concerning community resources. 

*To connect with a parent/guardian to receive needed paperwork for the school.
