About Me

Hi! I'm Mrs. Ilg and I am teaching Geometry with Statistics and Statistical Modeling this year. This is my twelfth year teaching, and my fourth at Hillcrest. One thing you should know about me is that I will do everything in my power to make sure that each student is learning and can succeed in each class they take. I want to help students be successful. If students need help, they should come see me for more information about tutoring.

I graduated from Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Science in Math Education and Grand Canyon University with a Master of Arts in Gifted Education.

I grew up in the Greenville area, attending Fork Shoals Elementary, Woodmont Middle, and Woodmont High. I am married with three kids (two from my husband's previous marriage). We have three dogs (Zoey brown, Milo black, Snow white/tan)

Things that I do for fun are biking, swimming, spending time with my friends or animals, hiking, reading, crocheting, going to amusement parks, and taking trips to fun places (Montana, Virginia, Kentucky, and Florida are some of my favorites). I have a goal of visiting all 50 states before I'm 50 (currently at 40 states) and read 12 books a year. Don't you know that well-roundedness is important?! My favorite TV shows are Grey's Anatomy, Outlander, and NCIS (talk to me about them!). I also take suggestions for new shows ;)
