Welcome to 8th grade String Orchestra! I am so thrilled to have each of you in our class and look forward to this journey we will take discovering music and learning to play a string instrument! These are skills that you can develop and enjoy for a lifetime.

Please check the Orchestra calendar often as we have many activities and performances happening throughout the school year. Also, please note the required concert attire as stated in the Newsletter.

Our ensembles are built on teamwork so it is necessary for every student to participate with their class at the concerts! These performances highlight their progress and hard work. We appreciate the support you give them by attending the concerts and the opportunity to be part of our GMS orchestra program. Family and friends are always welcome and encouraged to attend our events!
