Hello there!
My name is Julia Estes and I'm thrilled to be your child's third grade teacher this year! I grew up in Greenville, SC. My love of teaching began when I was a young girl as I was always the one who played school with my stuffed animals.
Prior to starting my teaching career, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology at North Greenville University. Additionally, I was a cheerleader all four years at NGU and loved my time there. Go Trailblazers!
Just this past school year, I had the incredible opportunity to complete my student teaching experience in fifth grade right here at Mountain View Elementary. Being able to continue my journey at the same school where I learned and grew as a teacher makes this year even more meaningful. Very quickly, I fell in love with this school community and am excited to now be part of it as a full-time first year teacher.
When I'm not teaching you'll find me spending time with family and friends, working out, shopping, playing pickleball or golf, going to sporting events, or reading.
As your child's teacher, I feel an immense privilege and responsibility to teach your student as I come alongside them in their learning journey. My goal is to be an encouragement to your student as I illuminate a pathway to valuable knowledge and inspiration for all. Ultimately, I plan to be a guiding light for your child as I see their potential and believe in their ability to learn.
