Parents and students,
Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Jeremy Jones and I am one of the agriculture teachers and FFA advisors at Travelers Rest High School. I am starting my 23rd year in agriculture education & FFA as a teacher and advisor, 17 of those were in North Carolina. This is my 6th year teaching at Travelers Rest, and my 6th year in South Carolina.
I attended NC State University for my Bachelors Degree in Agriculture Education with a Minor in Horticulture. 10 years after completing my Bachelors Degree I went back to school at NC A&T State University to get my Masters Degree in Agriculture Education.
Here on this website you will find useful information regarding what to expect in the agriculture classes I offer. Below you will find a document that will be sent home with your students having you sign to acknowledge reading and understanding our Syllabus, Class Rules, Class Procedures, and SAE Project (it is setup to print 2 copies per page to minimize printing). There is a page for general information (such as the bell schedules), each class taught (including Class Expectations & Procedures, Rules, Syllabus, Safety Agreement, SAE (including What an SAE is, Types of SAE, record keeping, checklist, due dates, and Rubrics), and FFA (Including our social media sites, calendar of events, and other information). Please read over the pages and information carefully so that you understand what will be reviewed throughout the courses.
