Mr. Brown
My name is Jeremy Brown. I am a 38 year old Kindergarten teacher (woo woo!) from North Augusta. I was also born in Germany, but I'm not German. I knew from a young age that I would teach, so here I am as adult doing exactly that. Hooray me! I live in Taylors SC with my wife Pressly (she is also a teacher!) and our two dogs, Louis and Lorelei
Following my graduation from Lander University in December of 2009, I began working at the University Hospital Child Care center in Augusta, Georgia. There I helped not only to assist students academically, but I strived to encourage the development of a supportive classroom community with students from a variety of backgrounds. In 2012, I began teaching Kindergarten at E.B. Morse Elementary, a Title One school in Laurens, South Carolina. During my time at E.B., I have served on the school safety committee, tutored students weekly as part of the 21st Century after school program, and I have also completed formal home evaluations and taught several sessions of summer school.
I enjoy cooking, working out, playing magic, karaoke, wrestling, being goofy, warm hugs, cold hugs, hugs in general, football, and spending time with the people I love. I look forward to teaching everyday!
