My name is Jordan Farmer and this is my 8th year teaching middle school. I am honored to have your child in my 7th grade science class. I am looking forward to working with you and your child throughout the year.
I am excited to be a part of the team here at Riverside Middle School. Before RMS, I taught 7th grade science at Granard Middle School in Cherokee County.
I have lived in Upstate South Carolina all of my life. I attended O.P. Earle Elementary, Landrum Middle School, and Landrum High School in Spartanburg District 1. I graduated from North Greenville University in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Health Promotion and Wellness. In May 2019, I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching Middle Level from Converse College. In December 2021, I completed my +30 graduate degree.
While attending North Greenville University, I played collegiate softball. I am very passionate about softball and have continued that love and passion for the game through coaching and training softball athletes! Not only do I love softball but I am a huge sports fan in general! GO UF GATORS! GO ATL BRAVES! GO DALLAS COWBOYS!
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, all things sports, traveling, camping, reading, and crafting.
I have a rescued puppy named Elly Mae. She is my best friend :)
Elly Mae desperately needed a friend. So four years ago, I welcomed another puppy into my home. Her name is Emmy Lou.
Emmy and Elly love playing ball, treats, long walks, traveling, and sleeping!
Yes... I am totally a dog mom! :)
I hope you had a FANTASTIC summer and know that I am looking forward to having you in my science class this year!
