Pinocchio Auditions

ALL CHORUS students should come to practice on January 13th. I will introduce our Pinocchio musical and discuss the available special parts to audition for. We will also practice the material for auditions. We will not have practice January 20th to give you more time to prepare for auditions and auditions will be on January 27th during chorus time. Only those students interested in special parts should attend.

Audition songs/materials are located in the Chorus Google Classroom and will be posted outside of the music room as well.

Chorus Spring Updates

Chorus Expectations:

Attendance – Students must attend all weekly rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals are on TUESDAYS (this is a change from last year) from 2:15pm-3:15pm and parents will need to provide transportation at the end of rehearsals. Rehearsals will not begin until September 23rd and a detailed schedule will go home with those students who have been selected to participate. If the student is not at school on a Chorus rehearsal day, that absence is excused.
Commitment – Students who are selected for chorus will remain in the chorus for the entire school year and will fully participate during rehearsals.
Excellent Behavior – Students are expected to be respectful and participate during rehearsals and performances. I have a 3 strike rule. Each time a student receives a strike, I will send home a paper with the student so that the parents are aware. I will also make a phone call at the 2nd strike. After the 3rd strike, the student will no longer be in the chorus. Chorus students represent Crestview within the school and the community, so they are expected to be respectful, responsible and ready to learn.
