I was born in Miami, Florida, but I have lived in upstate South Carolina all my adult life. I started teaching science in 2005 with Greenville County Schools after graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from the University of South Carolina Upstate. I completed a Master's degree in Education Technology at Boise State University in 2016. Before I became a teacher, I worked with computers and completed an Associates degree in Computer Technology from Greenville Technical College.
Outside of school, I enjoy exploring nature by hiking, often in state and national parks. I also love to travel during our breaks and spending time with family and friends throughout the year. My two dogs also keep me company and entertained while I'm at home.
